If you have a customer who claims they or their recipient did not receive an email with gift information, try these things.
GMail Promotional Folder
If the customer or recipient is using a Google GMail email address (@gmail.com) then it's possible that the email was sent, but is in the "Promotions" folder. Google automatically determines what they think is promotional content, and sometimes gift notifications end up in this folder.
Ask the customer or recipient to check this folder to ensure it's not buried with other emails.
Did the email fail to send?
Sometimes, Givy will receive a delivery failure when sending emails to customers or recipients. You would have been notified when this happened, but we recommend checking this.
In Givy, open the Gifts page, and find the gift in question. Does the email address show a failure? If so, you may need to re-send the email, or correct the email address and send it again.
Re-send the notification
To send a notification again:
Open Givy
Click on the Gifts page
Click on the gift in question
Check the box "Send notification on save"
Save the gift
