Givy makes it easy to offer free or paid gift wrapping services when a gift is purchased on your online store.
Configure Gift Wrapping
In Givy, open the Settings page, and on the General tab, scroll down to the Gift Wrapping section. To enable gift wrapping, simply check the box, decide whether you'd like to charge for this service (in your store's default currency), and save.
Customer Experience
When a customer purchases a physical product as a gift, they will be presented with the option to purchase gift wrapping with their gift. This is available regardless of the gifting method they select.
Merchant Responsibility
When a redemption order is created which requires gift wrapping, a tag of Gift Wrap will be added to the order.
In addition, when looking at a gift in the Givy admin, the gift details will indicate whether gift wrapping was purchased.
As a merchant, it is your responsibility to watch for orders with this property, and you must let your fulfillment team know to wrap the gift before shipping.
You can leverage Shopify Flow to watch for orders with this tag, and update the order, send a notification, or take some other action when gift wrap orders are created.
