Sometimes, customers may not understand that recipients enter their own delivery address for physical gifts that are sent by email, URL, or printed.
To make this a bit easier to understand, Plus merchants can add a checkout block extension to their checkout configuration. This message will only appear for physical products where the recipient must enter their own shipping address.
This is what the block looks like on the checkout page:
To enable this block, open your Shopify Settings > Checkout, then either create a duplicate configuration to test, or click the Customize button on your existing checkout configuration.
Next, scroll to the bottom of the checkout editor, and in the Order summary section, click Add app block. Find the Givy extension, and add it to your checkout. You'll see a green placeholder box in your order summary section.
Click Save to make this update live.
If you'd like to change the text that's displayed in this box, open Givy, and go to Storefront Assets > Checkout Delivery Block, then update the text in any language your store supports, and Save.
