As a Yotpo Subscriptions merchant, you've probably thought about allowing your customers to purchase subscriptions as gifts for their friends and family. Here's a quick guide on doing just that!
Step 1 - Yotpo Subscriptions Configuration
Luckily, there's nothing special you need to do in Yotpo Subscriptions to enable gifting. In the app, under Plans, make sure that you have at lease one subscription plan created for one or more of your products.
Step 2 - Enable Subscription Gifting in Givy
This step is also incredibly easy, and may already be enabled for your store. In Givy, go to Settings > Product Gifting and make sure Subscription Gifting is enabled.
Default order count - decide how many orders should be gifted by default when customers choose to gift a subscription
Subscription name display - if you find that the text describing subscription option in the Givy modal need to be changed, this is the text to change
Step 3 - Test it Out!
For most merchants, that's all you need to do! We do recommend confirming that the gifting modal correctly shows subscription options on your store. We also strongly recommend going through the entire flow as a customer to better understand how everything works.

Optional Settings
Now that you have subscription gifting enabled, you may want to update the following settings:
Email Templates - whether you're using Givy's built-in emails, or using an email service provider's integration, you should make sure these have the correct messaging for your brand
Subscription-specific Language - our gifting modal and redemption page will now show additional text specific to subscription gifting. Check out the Storefront Assets > Redemption Page settings page to find language you may want to update before launching
