When you first install Givy, a new product is created on your Shopify store. The product will be active automatically, unless you decide to make it inactive.

This product is not a traditional gift card product that Shopify would create. This is because we want to allow for additional flexibility that Shopify gift cards don't offer, such as custom amount.

To view existing details about your Givy gift card product, click the View Gift Card Product button on the top menu bar in the Givy app.

This will display current information about your gift card product. Here you can easily change the product's title, description, and status.

In the Amount section, easily add and remove denominations that you'd like your gift card to be sold in, and decide if you'd like customers to choose custom amounts for their gift cards.

We strongly recommend editing your gift card product from the Givy app instead of your Shopify amin. The one reason you may want to edit the product in your admin is to add multiple product images, giving your customers additional options when gifting the gift card to others.
